Remove a photo from a public timelapse

If a photo is blurry, irrelevant, duplicated, or otherwise should not appear in your public timelapse, you can hide it from the timelapse.

Hiding a photo removes it from the public timelapse, but it does not delete the photo from your organizer dashboard. You can still find hidden photos in the Photos tab when you are logged in. Hidden photos are marked with a hidden eye icon on the photo thumbnail.

Wrong location? If the photo was uploaded to the wrong Chronolog location, but it belongs to another location in your organizer dashboard, you may want to move the photo instead of hiding it.

Note: After a photo is hidden, it may still appear for a few minutes due to caching. If you still see the photo after following the steps below, wait a few minutes and refresh the page. The photo should disappear shortly.

Hide a photo from the Photos tab

Use this option when you are reviewing photos in your dashboard and notice a photo that should not appear in the public timelapse.

  1. Log in to your organizer dashboard.
  2. Select the Photos tab.
  3. Find the photo you want to hide.
  4. Click the three dots icon beneath the photo.
  5. Select Hide in timelapse.

The photo is now hidden from the public timelapse. If it still appears, wait a few minutes and refresh the page.

Hide a photo from the timelapse page

Use this option when you are watching the timelapse and notice a photo that should not appear publicly.

  1. Log in to your organizer dashboard.
  2. Go to the timelapse page for the Chronolog you want to update.
  3. Pause the timelapse player.
  4. Scroll to the photo you want to hide.
  5. In the bottom-right corner of the timelapse, click the hide photo icon. It looks like an eye with a diagonal line through it.
  6. When the confirmation window appears, click Hide to confirm.

The photo is now hidden from the public timelapse. If it still appears, wait a few minutes and refresh the page.

How to find hidden photos later

Hidden photos do not appear on the public timelapse page. To view a hidden photo later, go to the Photos tab in your organizer dashboard. Hidden photos are marked with a hidden eye icon on the thumbnail.
